Despite the radical change in trading conditions, our second report for the Home Retail Group (owner of Argos and Homebase) held fast to the story we began in 2008: this is a resilient, fundamentally sound business with a broad appeal. And with CSR rising up their agenda, the on and offline CSR reports were given serious attention too.
Along with usual must-haves: concise copy, good navigation and easy movement between the on and offline reports, both reports make creative use of the logo, manipulating the HRG Box to tell a story to investors – the effect is to interest and reassure in equal measures.
