The new business and marketing team at SAS is looking for a Business Development Manager to create and support the conversion of new business opportunities.

The duties of the role include the generation of appropriate new business opportunities by telephone and face-to-face and attendance at new business meetings and relevant industry and SAS events.

The right individual will have a proven ability to build, manage and convert new business relationships with extensive experience of telephone and face-to-face new business development. They will also be proactive and able to self-manage with a real passion for brand and digital communications.

Other desirable attributes include experience in b2b brand and marketing communications, websites and other digital communications, employee communications and an appreciation and understanding of design.

Marketing Assistant

SAS is looking for a Marketing Assistant to join the Business Development team.

Duties of the role include supporting the team in the generation and implementation of marketing materials and campaigns and ensuring that the business development processes and systems support the effective and efficient development and conversion of new clients.

The candidate will hold a degree and have at least one year’s professional experience, great communication skills and at least an intermediate level of Microsoft Office.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the implementation of events, mailings, research projects, collateral
  • Ongoing maintenance of the SAS website
  • Planning to ensure smooth and efficient creation and storage of marketing materials, case studies, press releases and coverage, awards entries
  • Management of Salesforce database and marketing systems

Digital Project Manager

Whilst balancing multiple project commitments, you’ll be used to working closely with Strategist, UX, Designers and Developers in a quest to deliver innovative projects on time and budget.

Senior Flash Developer

Working within our Digital team, you’ll produce highly creative Flash on a wide range of online projects. Your work will demonstrate a balance of creativity, usability, and development expertise. You’ll produce clean, well structured object orientated code in AS3, and regularly work with video and audio. You’ll spend your time working closely with user experience architects, designers and developers, and project managers, and will be a key member of the team.

  • You’ll have proven experience in Flash development, including animation, action-scripting, and video/audio production for a minimum of 4 years in industry
  • You’ll have relevant design agency experience
  • You’ll have a professional approach and good communication skills. Being organised, pro-active and efficient with excellent attention to detail is an essential aspect of this role.
  • You’ll have experience of working with, and mentoring other Flash developers

User Experience Architect

Working independently and in conjunction with strategists, project managers, designers and programmers to provide usability advice and create best practice information architecture that leads to appropriate, compelling and intuitive online user experiences.

We are looking for someone who is capable of presenting research, usability thinking and information architecture to clients and stakeholders in a way that is clear and easy to understand – even for clients with little or no prior experience of these disciplines.

You need to have at least 2+ years, high volume, high profile usability/information architecture experience either agency or client-side. A relevant design, communication or technology related degree with good knowledge of latest technologies, usability techniques and accessibility issues.

IT Support intern

This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in IT to gain experience with a company which manages each area of its technology.

You will be reporting directly to the IT Manager and have on-site training in order to bring first line support.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Assist IT Manager in servicing support
  • Assist in the maintenance of Laptops and Desktops
  • Application Support towards Apple Mac, Microsoft and third party software
  • Work towards the production of new IT services in collation with the IT Manager 

You should have working knowledge of:

  • Apple OS X, Microsoft XP/Vista
  • Microsoft Office and Adobe Packages (Photoshop, Indesign, etc)
  • Basics of Network Topologies. (LAN/WAN, IP)
